In current developments in the medical world, for the purpose of increasing the quality of the image produced from a modality, what is needed is what is called the contrast of the agent, especially in neuroscience studies. One type of contrast agent that is being developed today, among others, namely the contrast of the gadolinium nanoparticle agent. To conduct research studies from this contrast agent, then several stages will be carried out. In this proposal it is done by starting the manufacture of gadolinium nanoparticles and characteristics. Along with the making of the nano particle understanding of the phenomenon of diffusion of the nanoparticle dizziked by using Monte Carlo simulation using Mcell. The diffusion process that occurs in the body occurs in synapse, where this process involves millions of molecules that pass through the membrane of the section that concentrates high to a random low concentration section. In the simulation that will also carry out the geometry approach that matches the true geometry of the synapse microphysiology and parameters both for synapse and for the gadolinium nanoparticles from the experiment results that have been done before.
